One of our participants wanted to share a few words with you about why she comes to the Ranch....
Hi. My name is Kristi. I am a weekly participant at Freedom Reigns. I have been going there for a little over a year now. I love going out there and learning about horses and just hanging out with the girls. Freedom Reigns is a non profit organization who want to help people and make their day. Everyday I anticipate going because I know that I can get away from the real world for just a little while. They truly care about me and love to hear how my week is going and encourage me in any way they can. I love seeing and working with the horses out there. It showed me how they can react to certain things we react to the same way. The bond that I create with the horses as well as Carissa and other volunteers is an amazing thing. It's like you've known them your whole life. They inspire me to never give up hope and to never give up on my dreams. They help push me forward in life. I didn't realize how much I would care for them while going there until I went my fourth time. It also teaches me responsibility and how to take care of and love Gods creation. We also do paintings or crafts, or whatever you feel like doing that day, whether it's hiking up a really big hill just to see the view for a few minutes or me needing someone to talk to. They are always there for me and never judge me. That's why I keep going there just to be with them and the horses. I love Freedom Reigns and their Volunteers.
