"You saw their debut “album cover”… now they’re ready for their sophomore album. We bring you the 90’s cover band horse edition: what would their album be called?
(If you’re wondering what we’re talking about scroll back to August 30 and see the moment this trio was “discovered”. 😉)"

"Every nonprofit says they have the best volunteers on the planet and every nonprofit is right… but we actually have the BEST! These are the amazing volunteers who helped put on the best hoedown in Middle Tennessee this past weekend (not pictured are about 15 additional volunteers, including the men of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church who cooked up an amazing dinner for everyone). Incredible folks, with hearts of gold, and tireless enthusiasm… and it wouldn’t have been possible without each and every one. Please help extend a hearty thank you to the amazing team of hearts and hands who helped!"

"Most importantly, hay feeds our horses for the winter!! The need is great but we know, with your support, that we’ll be able to provide every bale that our horses need by the due date on October 1st! Give to buy a bale today!"

"Hey everyone! Or should we say HAY!
We need your help.
You’ve seen it mentioned here and there and you’ve seen a few fun videos our Junior Volunteers and some of our session kids have made… we have to raise the funds for our Winter Hay supply: $18,150 due in TWO WEEKS. We currently have $72 raised.
This isn’t an arbitrary number but a hard expense as it provides the primary bulk of nutrition for our beloved session herd and rescue horses in rehab or awaiting adoption from November 1-April 30.
Please consider making a donation today!
A round bale costs $85
A square bale costs $11
Every bit adds up to fill our barn with the necessary nutrition for the beloved horses that pour their lives in to our session programs.

"Thank you so much- you raised over $1,700 in two days and we’re 10% there!
Help us fill our barn with hay for the horses that help kids heal for the winter. 🐴 Our $18,150 bill is due in just 13 days and we need your help to make it happen!
$11 buys a square bale and feeds two horses for a day.
$85 buys a round bale and feeds 4 horses for a week!
Every bale adds up to make a big difference- sustaining our herd, keeping them healthy and strong to serve the kids who come to the Ranch.
Please put your bale in the barn today…

"Our Hoedown was filled with laughter, line-dancing, great food, friendly horses, and a record number of people coming together to celebrate all that God is doing through this ministry to impact the lives of kids and young adults right here in Middle Tennessee.
As we settled down to dinner, you heard beautiful testimonies from three session kids about the impact the Ranch programs have had on their lives.
You heard real-life examples from our Founder of how God uses rescued horses to make it possible for hope to take root in human hearts. And you heard a call to action from one on our Board of Directors about the unique ways you can partner with us in hope.
The Hoedown really wasn’t about an event. It’s about the lives being changed in the very place you stood on Saturday night.
Every rescued horse you met, every child who has found confidence here, every family who has experienced hope, and every volunteer who has poured themselves into this place... none of it happens without people like you choosing to invest in Freedom Reigns Ranch.
This year, we have seen the need grow tremendously: there are over 200 people currently waiting for our programs, all-the-while we continue to make every effort to increase our capacity and maintain the intentionality and integrity of our programs.
This is where we need you the most...
Freedom Reigns Ranch currently has three significant, outstanding needs that we’d invite you to consider helping us meet:
1) Help meet our Winter Hay Need of $18,150 due on 10/1/26
2) Sponsor one session a month for $167 with a reoccurring gift to help grow capacity.
3) Support the Ranch in an extraordinary way by becoming one of ten Foundation Partners that helps to carry our mortgage with a commitment of a reoccurring gift of $300 per month for one year. (Current outstanding balance: $275k. 5 Partner Opportunities remain.)
Meeting these needs in front of us ensures we can continue providing a place where people (and horses) can find healing, purpose and hope!
People just like Emma, who shared as she demonstrated liberty with her favorite Ranch horse, Finn, about the life-lessons God has taught her through horses.
Or like Zoe and Abbie whose lives were so impacted through their time at the Ranch as session kids that they now Volunteer and lead sessions. And like Gertie, who found friendship, community, and hope at Freedom Reigns Ranch.
None of it is possible without YOU.
It was truly celebratory, and we are so grateful that you came and celebrated with us. But there is also a reality we want to be honest about: the event did not raise what we needed it to raise to meet the Ranch’s current needs.
Would you please consider partnering with us?
A gift of $25, $100, $500, $1,000 - or whatever God puts on your heart - truly matters. And as always, donations are tax-deductible. We can also now accept stock through Charles Schwab!

One more time, we'd like to extend a genuine thank you to every person who came, who volunteered, and a special thank you to the Sponsors who made this year's Hoedown possible!
Thank you for believing in this place, believing in the work we're doing, believing that hope can take root and that God uses His creation to help heal human hearts."

"What a difference a month has made for rescue horse, Reese! Look at the SHINE starting to come in on that coat! ✨
Reese has gained well over 100lbs in just a month’s time, progressing from a Body Condition Score of 1, to a low 3. He continues to do remarkably well and is now eating his full weight gain ration of feed. His ability to sweat normally has returned, which is an important marker of progress toward full health. His vitality continues to increase and his personality is shining through.
Reese is considered a “super senior” in his early-mid 30’s as evidenced by his teeth (or should we say lack there-of). He has been eating Triple Crown Feed Senior Gold made into a mash as he is unable to eat long-stem forage due to his dentition and digestive system. We love Triple Crown’s products for their quality, targeted nutrition that especially helps these critical condition rescues thrive. It’s like chicken noodle soup for horses!
We are so grateful for their support of Reese (after all, he is eating 24lbs per day over the course of 5 meals. That’s a lot of feed!), and grateful for the amazing people who have committed to helping shoulder the financial side of his rescue and care. It takes a village and what a treasure it is to give this precious old guy his golden years full of all he needs to thrive."
