"We call Bill our “Tree Angel”… this amazing man has helped us in such an extravagant way and continues to support the Ranch by generously donating his time, expertise, equipment, and skill to keep things safe, improve the beauty of our land, and make the Ranch as welcoming and safe as it can be for everyone who comes. If you’ve visited, you’ve been blessed by the work he has done for us, even if you didn’t know it.
Any tree work or project big or small… whether it’s a tree that need to come down with skill (seriously, he scales a tree like it’s a set of stairs), or a forested area that needs to be beautified… he’s your guy!

"Collaboration is key!
At the end of June, we were called on to assist in a situation where 3 horses were left after the owner passed away. While we knew we didn’t have long term space for 3 (until our currently available for adoption horses are adopted), we could help with initial quarantine and refeeding as two of the horses were emaciated.
We welcomed them here on June 25, and were able to work them up to a full feed ration to start their weight gain process, do initial care including having their teeth floated, and then this past weekend transferred them to Volunteer Equine Advocates for their long term rehabilitation, training, and hopeful adoptions. We know their resident trainer, Kelsey, will do a phenomenal job with them! Thank you, VEA, for welcoming Roy, Samuel, and Janelle into your care.
We also want to again, extend our sincere thanks to Fleet of Angels for covering some of the expenses involved in their intake.
It wouldn’t have been possible to get these horses to safety without everyone working together and carrying a part of their journey. As our friends at Fleet of Angels like to say, #teamworkworks
We’re so thankful that there is a network of reputable rescues here in Tennessee who work together for the good of horses in our state. While we are not “defined” as an equine rescue (our session program will always remain the forefront), we do rescue a handful of horses each year by assisting and responding when requested by law enforcement on cases in southern Middle Tennessee, and are honored to do so."

"Huge thank you to FBC Augusta KS for spending the morning with us yesterday!
It takes a lot of work to steward our horses well so they can pour into our session kids and these amazing folks helped us get some essential chores done around the Ranch. Thank you for sweating it out with us in the Tennessee heat and being such a big help!
Thank you to our friends at Group Mission Trips for always sending such fantastic volunteers our way!"

"Our Founder is speaking for the fourth year in a row and will be sharing about equine stewardship based out of Proverbs 12:10 and 27:23. She will be leading four interactive sessions that will help you to have a good foundation for the care of your partners in ministry… your horses!

"Getting 20 horses ready for Vet Day!
Time for coggins, vaccinations, exams, and chiropractic for our amazing herd.
We love our amazing vet, Dr. Mark Wooten and are so blessed to have the best on our team of equine professionals!
We would greatly appreciate any support anyone can lend toward today’s bill as it will top $4,000. It’s a lot, but a necessary and important part of stewarding our herd well and providing all they need to be healthy and capable of their important jobs with kids!"

These special days, when the evil of this world can’t follow them past our gate, are an everyday occurrence here… but they never get old."
