"JESUS IS ALIVE!!!
🙌🏼✝️We celebrate our Risen Savior! ✝️🙌🏼
The whole point His suffering was to conquer sin, Hell, and death so we could have eternal life. Jesus went to the cross out of His love for YOU. It was a rescue mission…the wages of sin is death and we have no power on our own to save ourselves. His shed blood on the cross purchased our salvation from sin.
Our response? If we choose to believe that Jesus died and rose from the grave and accept His free gift of salvation that came at such a great cost, we can have relationship with Him and eternal life. For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13).
That is the Good News in which we place our hope. Knowing and trusting He loves us: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16)
Our prayer is you join us today in this remarkable truth and celebration! Hope is alive because He came. We celebrate a Risen Savior and His name is JESUS!!!"

"Educational Opportunities show up all the time around here. Remi presented with a classic case of CHOKE.
Choke in horses isn’t like in humans…it’s an esophageal blockage, not an airway emergency. You might see coughing, drooling, feed coming from the nose, or a stretched neck.
The important thing to do is try to keep your horse calm and take away any feed, gently massage along their neck, keep their head low, and call your vet.
When your vet arrives they’ll examine your horse, likely administer a sedative and muscle relaxant, pass an NG tube to try to clear the blockage, and administer warm water or other lubricants to help clear the blockage. Depending on the severity of the choke, they might administer antibiotics to help prevent pneumonia from aspirating, and instruct you to feed a diet of only mash for the days following due to irritation in the esophagus. You should check your horse’s temperature every day for 5 days to ensure an infection has not developed as well.
What can you do to prevent choke?
Choke is rarely severe, but always requires treatment.
An ounce of prevention is a pound of cure here.
Your horse should have a dental exam and teeth floated by a professional once a year. Some horses require every 6 months.
You should *always* soak hay pellets or cubes, beet pulp, or any other process-dried fibrous or forage product.
Grain and feed concentrates don’t need to be soaked but if your horse has compromised dentition (is missing teeth or a senior), soaking concentrates will help reduce risk.
Additionally, once horses do loose their teeth or have worn past good use, switching to soaked hay pellets or chopped forage will be required to not only reduce choke risk, but to provide appropriate nutrition (see our earlier op-ed on “Quidding”).
Have questions about choke in horses? Want us to do an Op-Ed on a specific topic? Let us know in the comments below!"

"What an honor it is to walk alongside such brave individuals as they work hard to heal from the evil this world has thrown at them.
Thank you for helping them take a few steps with some hoofbeats in stride by supporting Freedom Reigns Ranch. We often hear that these are some of the most impactful steps in their journey."
