“Igniting hope, with the help of a horse” is what we do.

How we accomplish that is in a variety of dynamic ways.

One of those is our group mentorship program for teen girls called “Ranchers”.

These intentional groups, each divided up based on age and life-circumstance, are curated 3 hour sessions where the same group of girls meet together for the duration of up to a year to build community.

They’re led by caring mentors who guide the group through a series of topics over the course of the season that help highlight areas of growth, all while tying in related horse activities and practical application of scripture to each topic.

It’s more than just learning, it’s living out an experience in the moment, surrounded by a caring and supportive community, and being given tools to take off the Ranch and use in every-day life.

It’s how hope is ignited and lives are transformed here every single day."

"We’ve been treated to some really beautiful sunsets out here lately!"

"One-on-one sessions: At the core of our mission and the first step most participants take. It’s 90 dedicated, intentional minutes to be exactly what each individual needs.

Just one person, one horse, and the space to begin building trust, finding confidence, and discovering that maybe things can be different.

There’s no pressure to have it all figured out. No expectation to have the right words. Just the opportunity to show up, be met with kindness, and take things one step at a time.

For many, that first session becomes the beginning of something much bigger. A willingness to try. The courage to trust again. The realization that what they’ve been through doesn’t have to define who they become.

Healing doesn’t happen overnight, and it doesn’t look the same for everyone. But sometimes, all it takes to begin is a safe place, a gentle horse, and someone willing to walk alongside you.

One session. One step. The beginning of HOPE.

We’re so grateful to everyone who makes these moments possible at Freedom Reigns Ranch. You may never see a first step taken in person, but please know your support is making a difference."

"For the girl who was sold by her mom for drugs,

For the boy whose parents locked him in a cage,

For the teen who thought she could trust the one who said he’d always protect her,

For the boy who was kidnapped and only later learned the truth,

For the girl whose dad was murdered in front of her,

For the kid who doesn’t know why his parents abandoned him,

For the sister who just learned her sibling won’t make it,

For the one who has never known the meaning of “home”,

For the girl who refuses to trust again, but then finds friendship in a horse….

And then a mentor…

And then herself…

And ultimately Jesus, if she chooses to.

That’s why we do this.

"We’re so thankful to have the support of so many individuals, groups, and businesses just like you in our community who make it possible to carry out the important work happening here.

It’s especially meaningful to have the support of the men and women who have so bravely fought for our freedom. Thank you to the amazing folks at Southern Springs Veterans Club for your generosity to Freedom Reigns Ranch and to so many doing important work in our community.

We are so grateful!"
