"We're halfway through 2025, and wow—look what God has done through YOU! 🙌 Because of your generosity, lives are being transformed with every session at Freedom Reigns Ranch.
But we're not done yet...
To finish strong, we need to provide 1,400 more hours of hope and healing before the year ends. Each program hour costs us an average of $125 to provide, and every dollar makes a real difference.
💛 Will you help us ignite hope for someone who needs it?
Your tax-deductible donation goes directly toward life-changing, faith-filled sessions—and we truly can't do this without you.

"Meet Sparrow (left) and Dove (right, back pic)!
Today we were called to rescue two horses in Maury County. Their owner had reportedly passed away and a neighbor stepped in to let the relatives know there had been horses left on the property who needed help. We thank the Good Samaritan who intervened so they were not forgotten!
Their prognosis is incredibly guarded and both have a steep mountain of ailments to climb. Our team of Volunteers will be caring for them every 2 hours around the clock during the next critical 10 days and then for the months long recovery. Please join us in prayer for miraculous recovery for both!
If you’re able to help contribute to their rehabilitation costs, please make a donation.
We do not pull from our mentorship program funds to rehab rescued horses. Therefore, support designated for rescues is vital to allowing us to step in when help is needed, like we did today.❤️
Thank you so much for your support!

"Did you know horses have to see the dentist every year, too?
“Floating” is an important aspect of overall horse health and just like anything, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Jay Atwill does a great job balancing horse’s mouths and we highly recommend him if you need an Equine Dentist!"

"One year ago today, July 10, Gabriel came to us having been seized by law enforcement. His condition so critical no one thought he would make it. He required 22 days of around-the-clock care, assistance to rise after he laid down to rest, and a nebulizer multiple times a day to heal his damaged heart and lungs.
He made a miraculous recovery and his story now a living testament of hope, redemption, and reminding others to never give up!
“I will exalt you, O Lord, for you rescued me!” -Psalm 30:1
It would seem fitting that a year later, we now have two more precious horses hanging in the balance, but with a spark and drive to live. We are hope-filled for their redemption as we work hard to support their healing. And we can’t wait to see what God will do in and through their lives!"
"We couldn’t let National Farrier Week pass without a shoutout of sincere appreciation to Billy, Barrett and Alec!!! These guys are some of the hardest working men on the planet and keep our horses sound for their jobs with the best hoof care. Their patience, kindness, and generosity is unmatched.
Thank you guys, for all you do!!"

"Many of you have been asking about updates on Dove and Sparrow. There is so much that happens in a day but we don’t want to overwhelm our feed so starting next week we will begin a blog on our website for those who want to follow progress.
These first three days are the most critical and we are thrilled to crest this vital threshold. Our next big milestone will be day 10, which should ease fears of refeeding syndrome. When horses are in such an emaciated state, they have to get very small amounts of feed every couple hours around-the clock or their fragile systems could shut down.
Dove is the more critical of the two, missing 40% of her body weight. She has been having some heart challenges so she is getting a lot of extra support with cold hosing and some meds. Her rain rot will result in the loss of most of the hair on her back, and we also pulled a rusty nail out of her foot drawing out a massive sole abscess. Her feet are being kept on ice around the clock and we are flushing out the abscess every two hours. She is a napping champion but is also getting more sassy each day and clearly feeling better most of the time.
Sparrow has never lost his spunk and can often be seen keeping watch over his more fragile friend (he is still quite critical as well, but is the more dominant of the two and therefore likely got more of whatever feed was given historically). Other than gaining a lot of weight and healing extensive rain rot, his only other challenge is his oozing tumors require twice daily cleansing, which he doesn’t seem to mind. He will have them removed once he is strong enough to do so. Thankfully they have clear margins and once removed shouldn’t affect him.
Our team of Volunteers have all taken rotating shifts to cover their every-other-hour around the clock care routine. We know God cares for His creation, and that He is great at writing incredible redemption stories. It is an honor to be a part of Dove and Sparrow’s story.
Thank you again to everyone who has contributed to their rehab costs thus far! You are every bit a part of their story and we couldn’t do it without you!
You can read their story in details with special updates on our Rescue Blog!"
