"Cyrus’ recovery from colic surgery continues to be “textbook perfect”. He has graduated from a stall to a tiny pen and has a couple “emotional support ponies” keeping him company so he stays calm. He has a few more months before returning to “normal” life, and we have every reason to believe he will continue to recover beautifully!
We continue to be filled with gratitude that God saved our silly guy through medicine and the amazing team of Dr. Wooten at @equineperformaxrehab , and Dr. Cassie, Dr. Allison at @tnequinehospital . A sincere thank you to everyone who has also helped with his hospital bill. We have $4,000 left to raise finish replenishing our emergency fund."

We had a pretty big storm blow through this evening and have several large trees, dozens of large limbs and countless branches down. If anyone has a chainsaw or just muscle and is available to help begin cleanup tomorrow afternoon we would greatly appreciate your help! Send us a message to let us know you can come.
Praise Jesus all horses are safe and no one escaped their pastures despite the down fences."

"An incredible thank you to all who came to help cleanup today after last night’s storm!!! What we thought would take several days was done today with the tireless efforts of these amazing folks. Our utmost sincere thanks to Bill with B&D Tree Service and Landscaping & (we’re making a special and separate post for them- please be sure to check it out. But in case you don’t, if you EVER need expertly done tree work, call them! 931-350-9320. He showed up and worked all day donating time and machinery to make light work of what would have been an exhausting task.)

"Some angels climb trees and drive skid steers.
This morning, in response to the post we made, Bill of B & D Tree Service showed up ready to help with a skid steer, chain saws, and a heart to serve asking nothing in return that moved me to tears.
Not only did he make light work of the trees and limbs that had fallen in last nights storm, he took down every dangerous (dying) tree and limb in our frequently accessed areas… and did so all volunteer!

Please help us extend a thank you by choosing to call them if you ever are in need of their services. Watching him climb and with incredible precision remove a tree so it didn’t fall on fences was incredible. He knows what he is doing!

"And that’s a wrap! Our 2025 session season has officially come to a close and it has been absolutely incredible!
We will share all the “statistics” of how many hours and who was served this year soon, but for now we just want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made it possible. Lives were changed for the better this year because of you.
